Game Night- BEWARE of Laughter!

So I was just visiting some of my girlfriends for our usual relaxing “Girls Night In.” These ladies can get pretty creative when it comes to planning a night of fun and relaxation! We have kept this tradition lasting through our hectic, busy lives as we all deserve to relax with our friends for a night! This week for “Girls Night In,” Ali brought out a game that I had never played before. Apples to Apples is the name of the game! This funny word game had us laughing all night long! After an hour of playing Apples to Apples, of course I decided I need to have this game for my house! I finally picked up the box to read more about the game, and come to find out it is approved for children ages 12 and up. Even your kids can play this game with you! Have a family that you need bonding time...

Storing Bulk Rice

Over the last few months, I’ve been trimming as much as I can out of our grocery budget. My husband tells me that Ben Franklin would be proud of my new found frugality. I don’t know much about Ben Franklin, but I think that’s a compliment…   Anyway, one of the items I found I could save mega-mulah on was rice. I was so excited about the deal, that I didn’t even consider how I was going to store a giant bag of rice in my pantry. For days, I searched and searched local stores for a plastic bin that was big enough to hold the rice, small enough...

These storms make pollen, dust, and other allergens and they spread quickly with the wind storms. What are dust bunnies anyway and when do they rear their ugly heads most often? Dust bunnies are essentially just collections of dust particles, hair (pet or human), and other fibers in your home. The more dusty and hairy your home is the more dust bunnies you will see. Also, your home’s flooring type plays a part in it as well as hard floors are more susceptible to dust bunnies. Softer flooring like carpet allows the dust to settle in and not be as easily stirred up. So, while you may not see the dust bunnies as much with carpet it doesn’t mean your home...
