“How often should I vacuum?” We get that question quite a lot. Did you know that carpet manufacturers suggest vacuuming every day? Seriously? Who has time to vacuum every day? No one I know, that’s for sure. So, start with running the vacuum over the high traffic areas at least once a week, and then try one of these tips that can help you keep your carpet looking fresh and clean for years to come! How to Organize a Closet for Kids

Recently, I had the opportunity to help a client with a few organizing projects around her house. The first place that she needed guidance with was how to organize a closet, more specifically her kid’s closets. Her little ones are 5 and 2, so there were lots of clothes that had been outgrown, as well as lots of clothes to grow into. This is something we see quite often in kid closets, especially when the families have a great group of friends who all pass hand-me-downs around. It saves tons of money on clothes and shoes, but it can become a storage nightmare if it isn’t set up in an organized way. That’s what was happening with these closets.
